My name is Jordan Brotamonte, and I am a Filipina-American visual journalist based in Bellingham and Seattle, Washington. I am a recent undergraduate student at Western Washington University with a major in visual journalism and a double minor in global studies and sociology.

As a minority in gender and race, I am passionate about covering issues of less-represented people in society. My goal as a journalist is to ensure that everyone, no matter their background, has equal coverage in the media and that their voices and stories are heard.

I have worked as an opinion reporter for the Western Front, where several of my stories were published. Additionally, I reported for the Klipsun Magazine, with one of my stories being selected for print publication, along with the Planet Magazine, with another story selected for print and online publication. I was also one of four WWU students that was selected for The Seattle Times’ Best of the Pacific Northwest symposium in April 2025.

Whether it's photography, videography, writing, or graphic design, I enjoy using my skills to create engaging content for a wide audience. I am always eager to work on new projects or opportunities that challenge me as a visual journalist. Please reach out if you’re interested in working together!
